Updating the Sansa Fuze+ firmware
How do I update the firmware on my Sansa Fuze+ player?

Firmware defined
Firmware is the software code that powers your Sansa player. SanDisk actively and periodically updates the capabilities, functionality, and reliability of your Sansa player through this firmware. For optimal experience with your Sansa player, SanDisk recommends that you update your firmware with each new release. Firmware updates are free.


Manual Firmware Installation (Download and Instructions)
After firmware update you will need to select your Language and Region preference.

Fuze + Firmware (All Regions)- Click here to download

1. Remove any external card from the Sansa Fuze+ before performing firmware update.
2. Ensure your battery is > 50% full.
3. Connect the Sansa Fuze+ to the computer
4. Extract the firmware.sb from the .zip file just downloaded to a folder on your computer.
5. Once extracted, drag the file to the root directory of your Sansa Fuze+.
6. Disconnect the Sansa Fuze+ and let it begin the firmware update.
7. The player will display 'firmware update in progress' and will turn itself off when finished.
8. Turn the Fuze+ on Select your language and region preference
8. Go to "Settings" > "System Settings" > "Info", and verify the "Version" is now 02.38.06"x".
